On the Road to the Mandarin Moon

As a winner of one of the most prestigious literary awards, I have an opportunity to go to Chicago, and as this is where I was in Poetry Now, I decide to invite you… I get two nights in the Mandarin Moon hotel —possibly a third if you want to spend this time with your fantasy all flesh and blood.

I so badly want to see you now… We haven't really spent any time together since Poetry Now, and I want my second physical chance with you, more than anything. Part of it is your sexy voice itself, and the way you move on stage, easy to imagine you moving like that in bed… I want to be close to you to feel these things for myself, especially orgasms; I want desperately to know what it's like to feel so physically pleased for sure, I want that to be real, not some illusory holy grail I'll never get to; I want to reach such pinnacles every time you touch me —and writing poems together is the best turn-on I have ever felt; we already connect that way, and I suspect we always will, destiny, destiny, destiny; poetic destiny, Mr. and Ms. Poetic.

Perhaps you didn't know, because I hadn't exactly told you until now, but the talking we've done, the poetry we've exchanged, all of this has made you sexier and sexier to me… You know just what to say to make me feel so special already… touching me with your words, and I get to touch you back with words… And, to top it off, I'm drawn to your looks more and more… Surely you know this; well, you certainly know it now.

"Thomas, there's a chance for us to have a reunion in Chicago… I know you contacted me almost immediately on Facebook when I changed my relationship status from married to divorced… And now I'm responding to your offer. I've never been single as an adult, and it's good for this me, now a fantasy for you alone, to be out of a marriage that began when I was much too young, a teenager, a baby, no matter what I looked like, but now, I'm free Thomas."

"First time I contacted you — day after you changed your status, you blew me off."

"No, I didn't Thomas. I told you that I was trying to see what if anything could happen between me and a man, though I hesitate to use that term, William Anderson, I found on an online dating site…I made a mistake. Oh that world of online dating… I tried it, and I met so many lies, but from the offerings, I felt the best of what was available might be William Anderson, so I tried dating him briefly, discovering he is nothing but a liar, and is ashamed to be seen with a caramel woman, and this is never going to change.

Things really came to a head when I went with William
